Whose Ready to Rock?!

The weekend we have all been waiting for: The Belmont Sheffield Music Festival is HERE! On Friday night, and all day Saturday + Sunday, we are closing the street off to traffic and replacing it with live music, dancing, singing, and all the good vibes. Other than two huge stages with a jam-packed lineup, we'll have food tents, drinks on drinks on drinks, clothing booths, accessories, original art, and more. Check out the lineup below, and see what vendors you can expect to see during your time at the fest!

around the Fest

Come for the music, and help yourself to a little treat while you're there. Surrounded by dozens of restaurants and with a hundred food vendors and merchants on the fair grounds, you can enjoy some delicious food in between set times, and pick something up for yourself! Cherish the three-day weekend and soak up Memorial Day and all its glory. We put together a Memorial Day guide on the best places to get BBQ, have a picnic, and more!


One DO NOT MISS event, is of course, The WOOGMS parade! WOOGMS Memorial Day Parade is Lakeview's longest-running tradition. Since 1963 this family and pet-friendly event has delighted the neighborhood, a parade where 'Everybody Marches and Nobody Watches.' Bring your strollers and scooters and join the Jesse White Drum Corps on a fun march around the neighborhood. Watch the fabulous tumblers perform at the end of the parade. This year enter a raffle to win an official parade T-shirt signed by Jesse himself! Read more about the WOOGMS Parade and Memorial Day happenings here! Last Friday, we cut the ribbon at La Perla at 3168 N Clark! This seafood cocktail lounge also doubles as a drag venue, with gorgeous wallpaper, disco balls, and local art decorating the walls. Building a sense of community is important to the owner Liz, and she encourages local artists to stop in and talk to her about their art displayed for all to see, no cost at all! This LGBTQ+ bar features an impressive cocktail menu. The seafood-centric menu boasts dishes like Oyster Rockefeller, fresh calamari, and crab cakes.
