On Sunday, June 28th, look out for the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce float in the Chicago Pride Parade! The 55th Annual Chicago Pride Parade will march proudly through Lakeview, kicking off at 11 am. The parade is the grand finale of Pride Month celebrations, showcasing the city’s unwavering spirit of inclusion and unity. Expect a joyful explosion of color, music, and pride as participants march in support of LGBTQ+ rights and visibility. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a long-time attendee, the Chicago Pride Parade promises an unforgettable day of celebration, connection, and pure Chicago energy.

A New Community is Forming in Lakeview East: Introducing Boomer Fitness!
What started as a tri-weekly strength training class for adults 65 and older at Archetype CrossFit, 3161 N. Broadway, has evolved into something much more. Affectionately nicknamed “Boomer Fitness” by its participants, the program has become a gathering place where neighbors build strength, confidence, and lasting friendships. Beyond the workouts, members have created a supportive community that proves it’s never too late to stay active, connect with others, and try something new. Head to Gallagher Way on Saturday, June 27, for an unforgettable night of music, community, and Pride celebration. As part of OUT at Gallagher Way, the venue will welcome BERTHA, the world's first Grateful Drag band, an all-star collective of queer and allied East Nashville musicians performing in wigs, full glam, and full force.
The evening also features performances by Rozbot and Chicago favorites Yoko and the Oh No's. Tickets are $20 and available now!
