Nuts On Clark Street Naming Ceremony

Clark Street just got a little more corny, in the best way possible. You see these black and white buckets and bags at the airport, at Solider Field, Wrigley Field, and throughout gift shops in the city. It would be an understatement to say that Chicago is nuts for Nuts on Clark! This past week, Nuts on Clark received an honorary street designation right outside their storefront at 3830 N Clark St. It’s a well-earned tribute to a family-owned business that’s been delighting locals and visitors since 1979 with gourmet popcorn, nuts, chocolates, and more. For more than four decades, they’ve been a true Chicago staple.

As the holidays approach, share a little hometown flavor, or treat yourself, to something spectacular from this beloved Chicago original.

Holiday Honky Tonk Brunch

This holiday season, Big Star Wrigleyville has transformed into Holiday Honky Tonk, a festive fusion of Nashville nightlife and twinkling seasonal charm. Guests are invited to sip, sing, and two-step their way through the celebrations as the space becomes a spirited winter destination.

To keep the cheer going, Big Star is hosting family-friendly holiday brunch buffets every weekend through December 21. The festive spread features scrambled farm eggs, PQM maple sausage, smoked bacon, crispy brunch potatoes, chilaquiles rojo with queso fresco, braised chicken enchiladas with mole, a full taco bar, horchata French toast, and a fresh fruit tower. The Holiday Honky Tonk brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., making it the perfect way to kick off a merry weekend.

Let's get this pawty started! The Chicago French Bulldog Rescue is hosting its 7th Annual Ugly Sweater Party at Rizzo's Bar and Inn on Saturday, December 6th. You and your pup are invited for a fun afternoon full of silent auctions, food, friends, and fur! Every ticket purchased helps the Chicago French Bulldog Rescue continue to rescue Frenchies in need. Humans only need to purchase a ticket and are allowed one dog per ticket (this will be enforced at check-in). Dogs must be on a leash at all times, and only well-behaved dogs are allowed, to ensure a safe and fun day fur for all.
