Lakeview East Festival of the Arts | September 13 + 14

Get ready, our biggest event of the year is almost here! Happening exactly ONE MONTH FROM TODAY, The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts is back and bigger than ever, bringing an extraordinary weekend of art, entertainment, and community. This year is extra special, as it's the 20th Anniversary of this legendary festival!

For one weekend only, Broadway transforms into an open-air gallery, featuring over 120 talented juried artists from across the country. Discover original paintings, sculptures, photography, jewelry, furniture, and more, available for purchase in a wide range of styles and prices. But this festival is more than just art. It's a full weekend of excitement with live art demonstrations, multiple entertainment stages, family-friendly activities, and a relaxing garden oasis to unwind.

For 20 years, the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce has proudly presented one of Chicagoland’s most beloved and unique art festivals. Every artist, musician, and vendor is handpicked to ensure the best experience right in the heart of Lakeview.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of this iconic celebration of creativity.

Want to join the fun behind the scenes? Volunteer!

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a Chicago street festival? Curious how it all comes together, or just love art, community, and a good time? We’re looking for volunteers to help bring this year’s Art Festival to life! It’s a fun, hands on way to get involved, meet new people, and support the local creative scene.

Volunteer roles include everything from greeting guests at the gates and booth-sitting for artists to helping with setup and more. No experience needed—just bring your energy and love for the arts! Join us and be part of something colorful, creative, and totally unforgettable. Email info@lakevieweast.com to apply!

2025 Dining Guide Highlight: NOLA Kitchen & Bar

New Orleans might feel a world away, but at NOLA Bar & Kitchen, you’re only steps from some of the best Cajun and Creole flavors this side of the Bayou. Nestled in the heart of Wrigleyville, NOLA serves up a warm, French Quarter–style welcome, equal parts cozy and bursting with bold flavor. Their creative spins on classic Cajun dishes and house-crafted cocktails will keep you toasty, but the good times don’t stop at the table. Step inside and you’re in full Mardi Gras mode: cheer on the LSU game, sing your heart out at karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights, catch the wildly fun Monday night drag show Spjork's Circus, or laugh along with live comedy. At NOLA, there’s always a reason to stay, play, and savor.
