Sipping Success: 22 Years of Margarita Magic with Cesar's Killer Margaritas
Nestled on the corner of Broadway and Oakdale, lies a two-story Mexican restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine and killer margaritas. Cesar’s Killer Margaritas have been in our neighborhood since 2001, but their story starts back in 1991. Cesar’s first home was at 3611 N Clark St, about half a mile away from Wrigley Field. The original founders of Cesar’s were Israel, the current proprietor, and Cesar, his father. The idea for “Cesar’s Killer Margaritas stems from the first Clark Street location, as the margaritas came about in addition to the original menu.
During the month of October, Cesar’s is collecting photos of loved ones to be added to the restaurant’s Día de los Muertos Ofrenda, an altar built to honor lost loved ones. Guests can bring photos when they come in to dine or email them to pics@KillerMargaritas.com, where Cesar’s team will print them and add them to the altar by Nov. 1st! Read the story of Cesar's legacy and an interview we had with owner Israel Sanchez! Visit Cesar's at 2924 N Broadway, for brunch, dinner, fantastic service, and of course, a killer margarita.

Franchise owner Baron Waller did an interview with Block Club Chicago, giving some insights about the chain's expansion to Wrigleyville.
"The 3,700-square-foot restaurant will have room for indoor dining and a walk-up window for to-go and pickup orders, Waller said. 'We’ve been working on this for a while now, and it’s so exciting to be part of the Wrigleyville community,' Waller said.
Culver’s has been plotting an expansion to Wrigleyville since 2014. Plans to open at 3500 N. Clark St. fell through in January 2021 when Culver’s pulled out of a proposal to open on the first floor of a 47-foot mixed-use building at that location. A Chick-fil-A filled that restaurant spot." We're delighted to finally have Culver's in the neighborhood! We hope to see some familiar faces (and new ones) come out for the grand opening.

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we bid farewell to the cherished Irish pub that has been a cornerstone of our Wrigleyville community for so many years, The Full Shilling.
The time has come to say goodbye to a place that was not just a bar but a second home for many of us – a place where we experienced the warmth of Irish hospitality, the taste of authentic Irish drinks, and the thrill of Irish sports. We've treasured nights singing karaoke, the drinks we had before a Metro show, and all the free hot dogs we devoured before and after Cubs games. Though we are saddened by its closure, let us not forget the memories we created here. The owner left a note on the door (pictured) that invites patrons to head over to Trace, their sister bar that is located just three doors over, at 3714 N Clark.
