Last night, we gathered for the Lakeview East Annual Meeting, hosted at Tin Roof in Wrigleyville! With over 150 business owners and community members in attendance, the evening was filled with celebration, connection, and exciting conversations about the future of our neighborhood. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to make this event so special. Your support and enthusiasm continue to shape the heart of Lakeview East. We are already looking forward to next year, and cheers to Lakeview East!

The Lakeview East Supper Club invites you to an intimate evening at Black & Caspian, where Mediterranean flavors meet European hospitality. This month’s dinner is all about “Wine & Mezze: A Social Dining Experience”—a night of bold flavors, flowing wine, and lively conversation in one of Lakeview East’s most charming spots.


Inspired by the Mediterranean way of dining, this event is about slowing down, savoring each bite, and toasting to good company. Guests will enjoy a chef-curated three-course meal, featuring a selection of fresh mezze, rich and hearty entrées, and indulgent desserts—all complemented by a glass of house wine to bring the flavors together. Food Safety & Sanitation Manager Class

Join us at the Center on Halsted on March 24th from 9AM - 5 PM for the Food Safety & Sanitation Manager Class hosted by the Safe Dining Association!

The Food Safety Manager Certification credential communicates to the food service and retail industry that you have the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to oversee the safe storage, preparation, and service of food in the workplace.

The Food Safety Certification class will consist of 1 eight hour day of instruction with the exam being given at the end of the class. This class and exam is fully accredited with the Illinois Department of Public Health, Chicago Department of Public Health, Prometric Testing Organization and ServSafe from the National Restaurant Association (administered by request). Upon successful completion of the class and test students will be certified in the State of Illinois and will be able to apply for the City of Chicago certification. All certifications are valid for 5 years.

Lakeview, let's dance! Fred Astaire Dance Studio has been open for a few weeks now at 2827 N Halsted, but the big Ribbon Cutting ceremony is taking place on March 20th at 1 pm. Later in the evening at 5 pm, they are hosting a complimentary Salsa Class for all to join! Come congratulate this new business on opening and get your salsa on while you're at it. There is no experience required to attend; after all, it is a class!

Chicago Cubs Home Opener is

We are sooo back. The Cubs Home Opener is just 22 days away! Our beloved cubbies will be taking on the San Diego Padres for a 1:20 pm game. Every year during the Cubs Opener, the whole neighborhood prepares with bars opening as early as 7 am, drink specials, live music, and more.
