Join us at the WrigleyWhoVille Lantern Procession TONIGHT!

We've partnered with the fabulous LUMA8 group to present the first EVER WrigleyWhoVille Lantern Procession! Join us for the WINTERGLOW Lantern Walk and Sing-a-Long, followed by holiday karaoke! We'll be meeting at Moe's Cantina at 5:30 pm today, where you can savor a festive cocktail and grab a lantern to join the procession.

Our pals from the BYOB Supper Club will decked out in full WhoVille attire, and the sing-a-long will be led by a quartet from Beaux & Belles Carolers. We'll return to Moe's around 6:45 for a Whoville finale by the Beaux & Belles quartet, followed by Holiday karaoke until 9 pm!

Don't forget to don your WhoVille and Grinch-inspired costumes, and feel free to craft your own lantern to add to the procession! It's a night of family festive fun you won't want to miss! Let's get glowing!

Love shopping local? Show us the receipts! Our 27th annual Giver's Gift Program is underway and we are rewarding our neighbors for keeping money in our local economy. Spend $300 at local shops between November 1st through December 21st, bring in or email your receipts to us, and we'll give you a free $50 Lakeview East Gift Card!

How Givers Gift Works:

You must have at least 3 receipts from businesses in the Lakeview East district, each more than $25 excluding tips, with a maximum purchase of $100 for groceries and/or liquor.

These pop-ups did much more than deck the halls, they’ve decorated every square inch of their spaces to bring holiday joy to even the grouchiest of grinches. TBOX is on SATURDAY!

Can't choose which Wrigleyville pop up to visit this year? Visit all of them on one day during the largest holiday bar crawl in the midwest - TBOX! Taking place on December 9th this year!

Back for its 27th year in a row, TBOX is back and bigger than ever. Bounce from bar to bar decked out in holiday gear and celebrate with people as merry and bright as you are. Starting at 10 in the morning and going until 8 pm, you have all day to explore Wrigleyville, and catch some live music while you're at it. TBOX is a bucket list experience, bring your holiday crew out for a day of holiday fun and day drinks! Tickets are on sale now, the sooner you get tickets, the cheaper they are!

Steingold's of Chicago is Coming to Wrigley

Good news for Wrigleyville! Hotel Zachary will soon be home to the newest Steingold's deli! "The new Steingold’s will feature the classic deli sandwiches, bagels, pastrami and chicken shawarma that it’s known for, while introducing new items like everything-bagel dogs on a stick, latke-tot poutine and corned beef grilled cheese" (Block Club Chicago). The article states that the deli plans to be open by Cubs Opening Day, which is March 28th. If you can't wait until then, visit their existing location at 3737 N Southport!

Kids Days at Winterland

On select Mondays, Winterland at Gallagher Way is hosting Kids Days! These special evenings dedicated to the youngest Winterland guests include a free hot chocolate voucher upon entry for kids 12 and under.

Between 5 and 7 p.m. on Kids Days, little ones will also have the chance to ice skate with Clark the Cub at the Gallagher Ice Rink and visit with Mrs. Claus, who will help write letters to Santa and host story hour.

Overview of Chicago’s Paid Leave and Paid Sick and Safe Leave Ordinance

On November 9, 2023, the Chicago City Council passed the Chicago Paid Leave and Paid Sick and Safe Leave Ordinance (the “Ordinance”). The Ordinance guarantees up to five days of paid time off and five days of paid sick leave for all of Chicago’s workers. Employers and workers are encouraged to join this webinar for an overview of the Chicago Paid Leave and Paid Sick and Safe Leave Ordinance, topics discussed will include eligibility, accrual rates, potential payouts, carryover, employee usage, and employer paid time off policies. In addition, there will be a Q&A session at the end.
