It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Mack, the visionary & owner behind Foursided and a cherished member of the Lakeview East community. Todd’s creativity, kindness, and dedication touched countless lives. What began as a small frame shop on Broadway in 2002 grew into FIVE beloved locations across Chicago, each reflecting his passion for art and connection.

Todd was a leader, a neighbor, and a friend. As former Chamber President and a founding member of the Lakeview East Festival of the Arts, he shaped our neighborhood into the vibrant, creative community we love today. Todd’s impact on Lakeview East will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed, and his spirit will always remain a part of our neighborhood.

A celebration of Todd's life will be held on Sunday, January 26, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a service of remembrance starting promptly at 1:00 PM at Artifact Events, 4325 N Ravenswood Avenue, Chicago, 60625. All Foursided locations will be closed on January 26 in honor of Todd’s life and legacy.

This year is going to mark the 20th Annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts! Be part of this iconic Chicago tradition, showcasing incredible artists and makers from near and far. Applications to participate in this year’s show are open now through March 3rd—don’t miss your chance to join in on the celebration! This years Festival of the Arts is taking place September 13th and 14th.

The Food Service Sanitation Managers Certification Class is happening on Monday, January 20th, from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Center on Halsted. This one-day class, hosted by the Safe Dining Association, provides all the training and testing you need to earn your 5-year certification, including the City of Chicago license. Memebers of the Lakeview East Chamber get a special price of just $135!

Cocktails for a Cause for NOLA

This Friday NOLA Bar & Kitchen is hosting a heartfelt fundraiser supporting the families impacted by the New Year's Day tragedy in New Orleans. From 5 to 8 PM, 10% of all bar sales will go directly to those in need. Adding to the evening’s generosity, the talented Katy on Keys will be performing live and donating all her tips!
