It's a lovely time of year to see the public art that abounds in Lincoln Square. In particular, Fordham's Sculpture Walk at Fordham University’s campus (113 West 60th Street) is a real treat. The Walk features 21 works in a wide variety of artistic styles, including the whimsical Hippo Ballerina, a 15-foot tall, 2.5-ton bronze sculpture adorned in a copper tutu, which might be familiar to some of you from its time in Dante Park in 2017. Each piece has a QR code that can be scanned for information about the sculpture and its artist. The sculpture garden portion of the Walk is open to visitors on Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 9:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 9:00pm. A full map of the Walk is available here. Enjoy these public works on a fall day!
