The Finger Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce held its January Business After Hours Networking Mixer on Wednesday, January 14, at SERVPRO of Victor/Canandaigua, located at 5322 North Street, Canandaigua. This event was the first Business After Hours mixer of 2026 and was included in the Chamber’s popular Season Pass program. Throughout the event, attendees were able to take a tour of the facility, speak with the owner and employees, and enjoy refreshments.
SERVPRO of Victor/Canandaigua began as a localized franchise under the leadership of owner and president Sam Geyer in April 2020. Since then, Geyer has significantly expanded the business from a foundational family operation into a full-fledged, year-round restoration service with advanced capabilities. He has overseen a major facility upgrade to the current 5322 North Street headquarters in Canandaigua, grown the commercial fleet, and introduced specialized teams for comprehensive reconstruction services to serve customers in the Finger Lakes region year-round.

SERVPRO of Victor/Canandaigua specializes in both residential and commercial restoration and cleaning services. Offering everything from fire and smoke damage restoration, water damage cleanup, and mold remediation to general specialty cleaning, biohazard cleaning, and full reconstruction services. During a presentation by SERVPRO of Victor/Canandaigua CEO Sam Geyer and Chamber President Miranda Odell, Geyer welcomed guests, spoke about his journey, and the many milestones and accomplishments of the organization. Chamber President Miranda Odell thanked Geyer for his partnership in working with and supporting the Chamber, highlighting the involvement of SERVPRO of Victor/Canandaigua at almost every event since joining. Employees were encouraged to speak about their time with SERVPRO of Victor/Canandaigua and some of the accomplishments they’ve made since joining.

The FLX Chamber’s next Business After Hours Mixer will take place on Wednesday, February 11, from 4-6 pm at FLACRA: Connections Rounded Recovery, located at 64 West Ave, in Canandaigua. Spaces are limited. The cost to attend Business After Hours is $10 for Members and $20 for non-members, unless individuals have purchased a BAH Season Pass. This event is included for all 2026 Season Pass Holders, but reservations are still required. Please contact the Chamber via email at info@flxchamber.com or call 315-789-1776 for reservations or more information.
Business After Hours are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 4-6 PM unless otherwise noted and are open to the public, but hosting is one of the promotional opportunities and benefits that are only offered to qualified members who have been customers for at least two years.
