A WORD FROM OUR LEADERSHIP

As we reflect through the end of September, we are filled with gratitude for the tremendous impact our community has made together. Since the beginning of 2025, 4,600 service members, veterans, and their families have received direct assistance from HFMN. We have provided approximately $155,000 in emergency financial assistance to help stabilize 100 veteran households, offering critical support when it was needed most.

Equally meaningful, 95% of our clients report feeling lower levels of stress and anxiety after receiving assistance from HFMN -- proof that your support not only meets practical needs but also restores hope and peace of mind to those who have served our nation.

As we approach our Season of Giving, we invite you to help us extend this impact even further. The season begins with the Give Pikes Peak campaign, launching November 1st and running through the end of the year. Your generosity during this time fuels our ability to meet the growing needs of our military community -- ensuring that no service member, veteran, or family faces hardship alone.

Danielle McCarthy is a Gold Star Spouse, military mom, and dedicated business owner, bringing a deep sense of service and resilience to her role on the Board of Directors for Home Front Military Network. Danielle has a strong background in leadership, advocacy, and community engagement and she is passionate about supporting causes in Colorado Springs, CO, her hometown. Danielle’s personal and professional experiences uniquely position her to advocate for military families and strengthen Home Front Military Network’s mission.

On September 23, 2025, more than 700 guests came together at The Broadmoor International Center to celebrate and support Colorado’s military community during the 9^th Annual Honoring the Brave^SM Breakfast, hosted by Home Front Military Network (HFMN). The event brought together military leaders, civic officials, community partners, and supporters – all united in one mission: to make a difference in the lives of service members, veterans, and their families.
