New Veterans History Project Tool Kit launched
NCRA has launched a new downloadable Veterans History Project Event Tool Kit that offers members the resources they need to host a successful event. To date, NCRA members have recorded and transcribed the moving stories of nearly 5,000 U.S. war veterans.

NCRF hosts special VHP briefing
This October NCRF hosted 20 University of Miami students for a Veterans History Project (VHP) briefing and a guided tour of the Library of Congress. The students were visiting Washington, D.C., as part of a program called “Career Crawl,” which brings students to different cities throughout the nation to learn more about their histories.

hard of hearing communities

For the second consecutive year the National Court Reporters Foundation sponsored Celebrate Communication, held this September in Springfield, Va. Now in its 21st year, this informational fair is hosted by the Northern Virginia Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons, located in Fairfax County, Va.

NCRF Student Intern Scholarship offers $8,000 in awards – apply by Dec. 6
If you mentor or teach court reporting and captioning students who have completed their internship, encourage them to apply for one of four $2,000 scholarships by Dec. 6.

Become an Angel today
It only takes an $83 monthly donation to become an Angel. The Angels program is a major source of support for the National Court Reporters Foundation. Angels display their commitment to the future of the profession by donating a minimum of $1,000 to NCRF within a year. Your monthly, quarterly, or annual donation will be a 2024 tax write-off. Your NCRF support in any amount to any fundraiser is always appreciated.
