An Army veteran finds her next challenge in steno
A veteran, looking for her next career, thought that court reporting seemed “too good to be true.” Now Liane Hatch, a student at the College of Court Reporting, is using her GI Bill benefits to launch herself into the profession: “I would love to see more veterans and military spouses consider court reporting or captioning."

Faculty Innovation Grant sends Tri-C students to
state conference

In early April eight captioning and court reporting students from Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) in Cleveland, Ohio, attended the Ohio Court Reporters Association’s annual conference thanks to FIG (Faculty Innovation Grant) funding. Tri-C assistant professor Kelly Moranz, CRI, accompanied them.
