A Day of Connection!

One event we are excited to highlight is Deafopia, coming up at the American Dream Mall on September 19, 2026. It’s a free, open gathering that brings together Deaf-owned businesses and the wider Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Deaf-Blind community under one roof.

For families with deaf babies and toddlers, it can be a wonderful chance to meet other parents, discover practical resources and products, and let your little one soak up a lively, language-rich environment full of positive role models.

No cost to attend. Just register below.

Hope to see you there!

Language Acquisition Activity of the Week: Kitchen Letters!

Turn your kitchen into a letter hunt adventure! Give your child a letter, and they have to find items in the kitchen that start with that letter. But here’s the twist! Find the item
. Show the sign. Fingerspell it.

Want to level up? Challenge them to find 3, 5, or even 10 items!

This fun game builds vocabulary, signing skills, and letter recognition—all while keeping it playful and interactive!

Language Development Strategies

There are various ways to support your child in developing their language, whether it is through American Sign Language or Listening and Spoken Language.
