Last year marked a significant change for the firm as I took over the Managing Partner role, and I'm proud to say we're still standing, although at a new location! We were thrilled to close out the year with a huge win for our client Eurocon Group Inc., a Los Angeles-based construction company. Following a three-week jury trial, Partner Michelle MacDonald and I secured a 12-0 defense jury verdict in a $2.3 million subrogation claim brought by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. The Role of the Independent Mediator

The arena of alternate dispute resolution (ADR) has become filled with neutrals both large and small who provide an invaluable service to the litigation community and the overtaxed court system. Many “independent” neutrals, not affiliated with institutional providers such as AAA and JAMS, offer competitive and oftentimes more cost-effective alternatives within the framework of traditional ADR.
