Message from Magnus
With the fall quarter just around the corner, we are launching a number of new initiatives and programs focused on what happens outside of the classroom. Our new engineering practicum lets students participate in internships across multiple quarters, providing greater exposure to industry. The newly established Office of Inreach will help provide structures and support for our cohort-based student experiences, including student clubs, makerspaces, undergraduate research and design competitions. We are also enabling greater multidisciplinary flexibility in the curriculum through a new Environmental Changemakers Certificate. We look forward to starting the new academic year this month and welcoming a new class of Anteater engineers.
Best,
Magnus Egerstedt, Ph.D.
