Our vision for a sustainable future for Hanover is tied to our vision for the entire Richmond region – one where we grow and revitalize our core city and inner suburbs, preserve our farms and forests, and tie new development to transit in walkable communities. As an outer suburb, Hanover can ensure that a large proportion of its land remains in farms and forests, while gracefully growing where it already has the infrastructure.
