Friends and Supporters,

Yay! We know we need the rain but we’re glad we have a chance to get outside tomorrow for one of PSG’s signature walking tours.

Join us as we explore our city’s Downtown and discuss the vision in the City Center Plan. We’ll include some history, the ups and downs with recent plans for City Center, learn about improvements to our bus service and new transfer center, and hear about exciting new N-S bus routes, bike facilities and the Fall Line Trail.

After some ups and downs, we hope that the city is on track to transform City Center into a dynamic and thriving hub for innovation and community.

Key Details:

- Date: Tomorrow, Saturday, June 24, 2023

- Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm

- Meet:: In front of City Hall on East Broad Street near Padows

Speakers:

  • Stewart Schwartz, PSG President
  • Adrienne Torres, Chief Development Officer for GRTC Transit System
  • Brantley Tyndall, Director of Bike Walk RVA at Sports Backers
  • Amy Guzulaitis, PSG Coordinator
  • Jordyn Taylor, Asst PSG Coordinator

To ensure your spot on the tour, please RSVP by Eventbrite

Feel free to invite friends, family, and colleagues. The more participants we have, the richer the discussions and insights shared!

Make sure to wear your walking shoes, wear sunscreen and a hat, and bring water if it’s warm! The walking portion of the tour will cover approximately 1 mile.

Getting there – we hope that you will try out biking or riding the GRTC bus to the event!

  • By Bus: Pulse Bus Rapid Transit along Broad Street and a number of Routes cross downtown. Check out the route map and schedules.
  • By Car: Public street parking is available near Richmond City Hall
  • By Your Bike (sadly, Richmond’s bikeshare is closed down).

See you tomorrow for our latest tour!
