Friends and Supporters,

Join us for an engaging walking tour of downtown Richmond (City Center) on Saturday, June 24th from 10 am to 12 noon. Downtown Richmond has a lot going on, you may have heard of the recently failed VCU Public Safety Building deal, the city requesting offers on a development deal for downtown, and the new GRTC transfer station that we will cover in the tour.

Our walking tour will be led by PSG President Stewart Schwartz, PSG Coordinators Jordyn Taylor and Amy Guzulaitis, with special guest speakers Brantley Tyndall (Bikewalk RVA) and Adrienne Torres (GRTC). We’ll learn about the history of the area, the failed Navy Hill project, the Small Area Plan and bike/walk and transit investments. This walking tour will take us through the streets of City Center, will share the important history of the area, and provide insight to the future plans for City Center. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, this tour is sure to provide valuable insights of our vibrant city!
