We recently took a mushroom foraging class with Edible Excursions and had a great time. Diana is writing a book on New England mushrooms, due out next spring. She's also knowledgeable about many other edibles, like the autumn olive. Here is her recipe for Autumn Olive Fruit Leather.

Whatever your style—paper, digital, or both—we’ve got you covered! Here’s to a season full of flavor, community, and family.

One of the best parts of publishing Edible is all the places we get to go and the stories and topics we get to explore—often through photography. Between Michael and me, we have more than 140,000 photos stored on our computers! We love sharing them, but the reality is that we often don’t have time to edit every photo and make it “perfect.”

So, here’s a new idea I hope you’ll enjoy: an insiders look at an album of unedited photos—no captions or descriptions—shared exclusively with Tidings readers.
