Aumenta a 75 por ciento el aforo permitido en lugares cerrados que tengan como su función principal llevar a cabo actividades multitudinarias como salones de actividades, centros de convenciones y coliseos.

El gobernador Pedro R. Pierluisi firmó hoy tres nuevas órdenes ejecutivas relacionadas a la pandemia por Covid-19.
Entre las nuevas disposiciones se incluye un mandato de vacunación con refuerzo a los empleados de centros de cuido de menores, gimnasios, salones de belleza, salones de estética, barberías, spas y casinos. Además, se mantienen las directrices y recomendaciones en cuanto al uso de mascarilla y el requisito de 75 por ciento de aforo en restaurantes, teatros y cines en espacios cerrados.
Por otro lado, se aumenta a 75 por ciento el aforo permitido en lugares cerrados que tengan como su función principal llevar a cabo actividades multitudinarias como salones de actividades, centros de convenciones y coliseos.

El gobernador de Puerto Rico, Pedro Pierluisi anunció que firmó tres nuevas órdenes ejecutivas relacionadas al COVID-19.
Una de ellas amplía el mandato de vacunación a otros sectores, otra está enfocada en el aforo en los establecimientos y la tercera en los pasajeros que lleguen al aeropuerto.

But whenever I see the suffering that COVID has created–every time I read about the latest death toll or hear about someone who lost their job or drive by a school that is closed—I can’t help but think: We don’t have to do this again.

FDA Authorizes New Monoclonal Antibody for Treatment of COVID-19 that Retains Activity Against Omicron Variant
“Today’s action makes available another monoclonal antibody that shows activity against omicron, at a time when we are seeking to further increase supply,” said Patrizia Cavazzoni, M.D., director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. “This authorization is an important step in meeting the need for more tools to treat patients as new variants of the virus continue to emerge.”
