HONORING OUR GRADUATES
On Sunday, June 7 at the 10:00 AM service, we will be honoring our graduates from Middle School, High School, and Post-Secondary Schools (College, Graduate School etc.)! PLANNED GIVING/ESTATE PLANNING WORKSHOP:
On Sunday, June 7, there will be a workshop following the 10:00 AM service on Planned Giving and Estate Planning. Come learn about setting up a will and trust. If you already have things set up, come do a checkup. If you are an executor or trustee for a family member, here is a chance to learn what you need to know. Sign-ups will be outside after both services.

FOOD BAGGING HELP NEEDED AT THE PANTRY:
On Friday, June 12, West Valley Food Pantry needs 6 volunteers to help bag groceries. Volunteers should arrive by 9:15 AM and will begin bagging dry goods from 9:30-11:30 AM. Please call the Prince of Peace Church Office at (818) 346-6968 to sign up/volunteer.

ECW ANNUAL RETREAT:
The annual Women's Retreat will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM in the Family Center. The speaker will be Lisa Marion. Sign-up sheets will be available at the Church Sunday after each service.

MUSIC INTERNSHIP SCHOLARSHIP:
LEARN. LEAD. GET PAID!
Do you love music and have some musical skill and literacy, vocal or instrumental, or know someone who does? Here is a great opportunity for real-world experience in learning to lead worship and sacred music.
Prince of Peace is offering a $10,000 Church Music Internship Scholarship. 10 hours per week for 10 months, Aug - Pentecost, at Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, Woodland Hills, CA 91367 under Boude Moore, Music Director.

WEDNESDAY MORNING BOOK STUDY
Please join us every Wednesday morning for 8:00 AM Holy Eucharist in the Chapel, followed by breakfast in the Family Center, followed by a book study with Deacon George Packer in the Youth Room (at @ 9:00 AM)! The book we're reading right now is "Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace" by Mark Deymaz, about how to become more like Jesus through the Prayer of St. Francis. No sign-up required - just come on in!

SUNDAY SCHOOL: BIBLE HEROES!
For the last few weeks, children have been learning about Bible Heroes. Children today are surrounded by many influences. With this series of study, they will learn to develop Godly character and virtues for their lives. Hebrews 12:1 (God's Word Translation): "Since we are surrounded by so many examples [of faith], we must get rid of everything that slows us down . . . We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up." This week's lesson: Deborah – teaches us about honor (Judges 4).

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Our Vacation Bible School (VBS), Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God, will take place July 13–17 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Children will journey through a vibrant rainforest setting as they discover who God is through engaging Bible stories, hands-on activities, music, and fun each day.
Now is the perfect time to invite friends and family – many are already planning their summer activities! Share the postcard invitation image at the top of this article and help spread the word so more children can join this unforgettable week.

ONE SERVICE FOR SUMMER SUNDAYS!
From July 5 through September 6, we will have just one service at 9:00 AM. We would love to have EVERYONE donate light refreshments during our Summer Patio Coffee Hour on these Sundays, based on your LAST NAME:

A – E: July 5 and August 9

F – L: July 12 and August 16

M – P: July 26 and August 23

R – Z: August 2 and August 30
Our Church Picnic will be held July 19, so no refreshments will be needed that Sunday.
September 6: to be determined (volunteers welcome!)
September 13 will be Start-Up Sunday, and we'll go back to two services at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Looking forward to a great summer!
