All: We are the sensitive and responsive ones called to create a world where every person is radically affirmed and barriers between people become

Music for Thinking of You Cards ~

Shared by Tanner Bayles

In the pew racks are cards with the title “Thinking Of You”. Please use these cards to write a note to someone so they know they are remembered and cared for. Put the card in the offering plate when it comes by, and the church office will forward the cards to the person addressed on the card. This was one of the elements of our time together that you lifted up as important for all of us.

Thank you!

Invitation to Give ~

Shared by Roy Zaborowski

One: As one heart is lifted

All: May we share its celebration.

One: As one heart is burdened

All: May we share the pain it knows.

One: As one Body, share ourselves through our

offerings.

In our offerings, we share not only measurable treasures of time, talents, and resources, we radically commit ourselves to sharing immeasurable gifts of forgiveness, grace, compassion, acceptance, and loving concern with each other and with ourselves.

In response to our celebrations and the deep goodness of life, our offerings for the celebration of life, in this place and beyond, shall now be received.

affirmation of this congregation and our hope for

this congregation will be a continuing and valuable

part of our lives.

All: May we be surrounded each day with a spirit

of generosity and strength, so we may

respond to life with generosity and strength.

One: God is at work in the world, and we get to be a

part. Amen.

All: Amen.

Word About Life~ Proverbs 30:18-19

Offered by Tanner Bayles and Pastor Ken

Three things are too wonderful for me;

Four, I do not understand:

the way of an eagle in the sky,

the way of a snake on a rock,

the way of a ship on the high seas,

and the way people in love are with each other.

Words for Mission

Led by Linda Johnston

One: As we depart one from another, let our hearts be

secure through every human season.

All: Let our hearts be secure in seasons of anguish as in seasons of joy, in seasons of failure as in seasons of success, in seasons of uncertainty as in seasons of security.

One: These are the times!

All: We are the people!

One: All of Creation is blessed!

All: May we love all and serve all!

One: God be with you

All: And also with you.

One: Amen.

All: Amen!

Sending Forth Song ~ Trees of the Field

You shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace;

The mountains and the hills will break forth before you.

There’ll be shouts of joy, and all the trees of the field

will clap, will clap their hands.

And all the trees of the field will clap their hands,

(clap, clap)

All the trees of the field will clap their hands,

(clap, clap)

All the trees of the field will clap their hands,

(clap, clap)

While you go out with joy.

(Repeat faster)

Sermon Reboot is ON for today.

This is a time to talk about the message and explore together using the ORID Art Form Conversation methodology. What is ORID? It stands for Observation, Reflection, Interpretation, and Decision. You will get the hang of it.
