The ACE Sponsorship Program was established 20 years ago and has touched the lives of over 650 children and their families. The program offers a unique opportunity to invest in the youth of Jamaica, specifically in St. Mary. The commitment level our sponsors have continually shown over the years is paramount. Sponsorship stories are diverse, yet all share a common thread of inspiration in which people give to bless someone. Read Amber's full article to see how ACE makes its biggest impact by playing "the long game."

Every year, we host our annual Backpack Distribution to provide students with the supplies they need to succeed in the classroom. Thanks to our ACE friends and family, we were able to equip 170 students across 30 schools, from infant/basic and primary schools, to high schools and special needs schools. Read Althia's full article to discover how God has provided for us even in the midst of hardships and tragedy, as well as the hope and gratitude each child received this season.

This month, Marla and Allen have focused on visiting friends of ACE in Mississippi to fundraise and catch up. God has blessed ACE with incredible people who, year after year, support, send, pray, and recommend ACE to others, as well as introduce professional help and opportunities to further our micro-businesses. Read Marla's full article for more details on their recent fundraising trip and upcoming micro-business updates.

Volunteer Spotlight

Lillie Williams is a faithful friend of ACE and a former intern. She first came down to Jamaica in 2013 on a mission trip with her church’s youth group and interned with us in 2015. Between COVID, schooling, and getting married, Lillie hasn’t visited since 2018. But what a special visit we had this month with her, as she was able to bring her husband, Ethan, and introduce him to her second home!

Lillie shared how important it was to her that Ethan experience ACE, witness firsthand its impact in Jamaica, and see how ACE has shaped her into the woman she is today. With no teams serving when they visited, Lillie and Ethan were happy to jump in wherever they were needed and personally experience how our Jamaican staff has built intentional and deep relationships with others in the community.

Are you ready to come be the hands and feet of Christ in Jamaica while experiencing transformation in your own faith? We could use your help! Email our Stateside Office at office@acexperience.org or call 877-500-5768 for more information or to book a mission trip.

Answered Prayers & Prayer Requests

ANSWERED PRAYER Backpack distribution for all our child sponsorship students went off without a hitch. Sponsoring a student goes a long way in their lives. We are sincerely grateful for everything you do for our community’s children.

PRAYER REQUEST We need four solar batteries for Galina Breeze Hotel, which will cost $3,500 U.S. for each battery. Currently, our power bills are roughly $5,000 U.S. each month. Think of what we could do in our ministry with the money that will be saved once we are fully on solar power. Can you buy a battery for us? Email Susan at office@acexperience.org.

ANSWERED PRAYER Without fail, our faithful senior friends like Arlene continue to give back. She’s here for a month to help with our annual backpack distribution, and what a help she is with the ACE staff! She also keeps our student database updated and well-maintained.

PRAYER REQUEST There’s no denying we need a new farm truck. Goldie has been around since 2008 and is still somehow barely running. There is a dear couple in Kentucky with a 2016 4x4 diesel pickup truck with only 14,000 miles on it, but we need $15,000 to buy it. Then, we need another $5,000 to ship it and clear it in Jamaica. Can you help us with this?

ANSWERED PRAYER Our greenhouse is one step closer to producing! This week, our reverse osmosis water filter arrived and was installed to move the river water through a filter that will produce drinking-grade water and tower-garden-quality water. Thank you to everyone who has invested their treasure into this venture. We should be growing for the winter season, and we are thrilled!

PRAYER REQUEST ACE has had more than enough employees face unexpected deaths in their families. The mothers of two of our farm guys’ children suddenly died of blood clots or heart attacks, leaving our men with young children, not knowing what happened. Please be in prayer for how we can reach them, other than to provide the basics of food and funds, as well as for comfort and direction for these fathers. Their little ones are left without a mother, and it’s a terrible thing to see.

ANSWERED PRAYER Althia will be traveling this October to see and spend time with some of our dear partners. She’s excited, and we are too, as partnership works both ways!

PRAYER REQUEST ACE staff member Brandy has a medical situation that continues to worsen. Please consider fasting and praying for healing, comfort, and answers for her.

ANSWERED PRAYER We want to give a special thank you to Sam's mom, who donated a significant portion of the balance needed for the school supplies and the backpacks for our annual Backpack Distribution. She did so in honour of her son, Sam from the Rebel Ministries team, who recently and tragically lost his life.

ANSWERED PRAYER Did we mention that we love you all and are so grateful for your loyalty to this incredible ministry that God gifted us with? Words cannot appropriately describe how much we love you all.
