The manual for life, The Bible, continually says that sooner or later, whatever choices we make in our lives, we will see the results of these choices come to light in our lives or the lives of others (Galatians 6:8-9). Let’s look at an example of what has been going on in Jamaica for the past few years, which happened again this month through an I-Quest intern alumni, Gentry...

Answered Prayers & Prayer Requests

ANSWERED PRAYER We are finally getting our solar panels and system close to being back in working order at the hotel and at the Children’s Village. It’s been a process, and we have learned a lot about alternative energy.

PRAYER REQUEST With the repairs of the solar system from the fire, we must purchase six 100lb batteries to replace the destroyed ones in the fire. Each battery costs $3,900 U.S. Would you consider purchasing a battery for us so we can be off the high bills from the utility company and put those funds to better use?

ANSWERED PRAYER The Peace House is going great. Last week we had a praise and worship time with our staff on the farm. ACE, alongside an ACE friend TJ and partner group Red Door, led the event. I think it’s easy to say, we were all “full” with joy, peace, and a grateful heart when it was over.

PRAYER REQUEST Our staff is getting smaller, from the hotel and ACE staff to the Buccaneers food court. There isn’t one specific reason, other than the fact that prices for all things are very high as in the U.S. When staff have reasons to go abroad for higher pay, we are happy for them. But a lot of gaps are left open here. We need your prayers on finding replacements.

ANSWERED PRAYER The Children’s Village duplex is well on its way to being complete. Thanks to the spring teams, we’re about ¾ of the way completed. Soon, we will hopefully get the house closed in.

PRAYER REQUEST Airfares are soaring heading to Jamaica. The economy is getting hit as hard as other countries. Please pray this will not deter volunteers from coming to serve. If there was ever a time ACE needs the support, it’s now. Boots on the ground.

Change adds up!

We appreciate the video our friend made for us a few years ago asking you to round up your change via your credit card. Well, now that ACE has made it through COVID years, we are asking you to consider once again to give us your change, especially if you can’t physically come down right now.

Just go to our website (www.acexperience.org) and click Be A Changemaker and then Get Started Now. It should walk you through the process of setting up an account. Putting in the credit or debit card you use most, the round-up amount on every purchase will be donated to support ACE!

We’ve noticed a lot of companies are seeking your change, but, by becoming an ACE Changemaker, you can always follow up on how ACE uses your change by coming down to Jamaica to see for yourself. We are literally changing lives and transforming communities!
