Love isn’t just a feeling—it’s an action. At ACE, we’re committed to putting the love of God in action every day by serving the community of St. Mary, Jamaica. Please prayerfully consider partnering with us this Giving Tuesday by helping make a greater impact in St. Mary in three ways...

November started with some spectacular visits to Jamaica by our ACE friends and new leaders. If you recall from our October Newsletter, ACE is literally “back to the future” with our outreach efforts. For the first time in years, two vision trips were scheduled for interested leaders who wanted to see what 2025 was shaping up to be for St. Mary and ACE...

Being thankful comes in many forms this time of year. With the rains coming late to Jamaica, poor St. Mary was flooded with water. Too much water. Our creeks and rivers were bursting with fast-moving streams that caused bamboo and muck to collect and clog our bridges. Then, Marla's superheroes showed up and went to work...

Answered Prayers & Prayer Requests

PRAYER REQUEST With the rain, wind, and storms moving through Jamaica late this season, we have a lot of covered-up pasture roads. We are seeking anyone who can drive a bobcat or tractor to spend a week with us to help us get back to a normal farm. It’s been months, and eight men on the farm need your help. Let us know if you might be available.

ANSWERED PRAYER We have several new schools and churches interested in partnering with ACE throughout 2025. This is an answer to prayer and helps ACE continue to get back on track making a difference in our community.

PRAYER REQUEST The greenhouse is ready to grow towers of clean food for our community and businesses once again. Green Life Fresh needs your prayers, as we will begin making garden boxes inside the greenhouse until the funds are raised to purchase the towers. If you feel led to help out with this endeavor, please let us know. This will be a game changer both economically and healthwise for the ACE micro-business in St. Mary.

ANSWERED PRAYER Many conversations are beginning to happen regarding offering a stronger wellness program that includes mental health counseling and coping in economic/poverty situations. Some of you have been gracious in financially supporting this vision for our mothers and children. With the help of a handful of local leaders already working in the Kingston and Montego Bay areas, we are joining forces with counselors in Florida to learn the best way to meet the mental/emotional needs of hurting people. Stay tuned for more on this topic.

PRAYER REQUEST We continue to pray for a couple to serve in the interim as pastor/chaplin for our Peace House. If you find you have 30 days at time to give to this important position of teaching and working daily with staff in our community, let us know. The need is there. You would be staying in the Campus home, so you would be right there in close proximity to the Peace House.

ANSWERED PRAYER As Thanksgiving draws near, all of us at ACE — both stateside and in Jamaica — wish you all a wonderful season. We are thankful for all God has done for us in Jamaica and in the U.S. While Jamaica doesn’t have a Thanksgiving holiday, believe us when we say we are grateful daily for the incredible gifts and support we receive at ACE. We are truly blessed and appreciative.

A Call to Give Electronically

It is always ACE’s top priority to protect the gifts we receive from our donors. That’s why we want to make you aware of recent issues that we’ve experienced with the Atlanta USPS and offer alternatives to continue supporting ACE in timely and secure ways. In recent months, we have seen donor checks being returned to donors and never making it to our office, as well as ACE receiving donor checks several months after they were sent in the mail.

In an effort to make sure that none of your gifts are ever lost in the system, we encourage you to send your gifts electronically if possible.

  1. Set up a recurring donation using a credit card via PayPal on our website.
  2. Send donations via Zelle, directed to accounting@acexperience.org.
  3. Contact your bank directly to have them wire money to our Truist account.

For more information regarding this issue with USPS, or on the various ways you can send your donations to ACE, please read our blog below.
