Starting a micro-enterprise going into the cattle business was no joke, as we knew nothing about raising cattle. We went in blind. The lessons taught were hard to swallow. We made plenty of mistakes; but now, we are reaping the “beef steaks.” Growing the herds, as well as discovering how to efficiently separate the heifers, bulls, calves, and pregnant mothers, were just a couple of lessons we had to learn...

This month seems to be all about using farm verbiage to express how the beginning of 2025 is going for ACE. We mentioned last year how we are all relieved to know the COVID years are now behind us and we are now positioned to do what we do best in St Mary once again. That is to go deep and not wide in serving our neighboring communities...

Answered Prayers & Prayer Requests

ANSWERED PRAYER The weather has been great, and we are seeing smiles from our elderly in the communities. This year, we are going to be building several tiny houses to get our seniors into a warm dry place.

PRAYER REQUEST We have more volunteers wanting to come serve than we have room. We pray that with all of the help coming, we will accomplish the areas of need in our school projects and outreach programs that we have already committed to at ACE.

ANSWERED PRAYER Thank you to everyone who has helped us purchase the growing towers for food at ACE. We met our goal of raising funds for 100 9-ft. aeroponic growing towers to begin Green Life Fresh. Getting to this point has been a challenge, but you helped make it happen. We will share more details as we get the towers set up to ship and clear customs.

PRAYER REQUEST On the topic of shipping, please pray that the agriculture department of Jamaica and customs will give us approval on the necessary documentation we need to ship into the country and be given a concession on custom fees.

ANSWERED PRAYER Our Men’s and Women’s Conference is set for February at Galina Breeze Hotel! Thanks to Trinity on the Hill Methodist Church in Augusta, we are well on our way to having a great attendance. The theme this year will be “NO FEAR HERE!” If you can make it, call the office. It’s going to be a great four days of outreach.

A Call to Give Electronically

It is always ACE’s top priority to protect the gifts we receive from our donors. That’s why we want to make you aware of recent issues that we’ve experienced with the Atlanta USPS and offer alternatives to continue supporting ACE in timely and secure ways. In recent months, we have seen donor checks being returned to donors and never making it to our office, as well as ACE receiving donor checks several months after they were sent in the mail.

In an effort to make sure that none of your gifts are ever lost in the system, we encourage you to send your gifts electronically if possible.

  1. Set up a recurring donation using a credit card via PayPal on our website.
  2. Send donations via Zelle, directed to accounting@acexperience.org.
  3. Contact your bank directly to have them wire money to our Truist account.

For more information regarding this issue with USPS, or on the various ways you can send your donations to ACE, please read our blog below.

ACE is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are 100% tax deductible.
