Jamaica is no stranger to droughts. Every summer, we experience some level of dryness on the island that causes us to reserve any water we can and pray to God for some much needed rain. This year is no different. If anything, it's been worse. Yet in the thick of the drought, when the air feels tense and stress levels are high, I’m reminded of Jeremiah prophesying to a rebellious people who had forgotten to acknowledge, thank, and trust God. Jahmone in our Child Sponsorship Program spent time crafting beautiful necklaces and bracelets as a special thank-you for his sponsors. We love seeing how our students respond to the generosity their sponsors have given them over the years, and these thoughtful, handmade gifts were such an incredible display of gratitude!

ANSWERED PRAYER Praise God that we have received much-needed rain in St. Mary! We still have plenty of need for more as the drought has impacted our community in many ways, but God is always faithful to provide.

ANSWERED PRAYER We are beyond thankful to the Lord for the generous donor from Trinity on the Hill that financially provided for us to purchase a wheelchair for Millicent!

PRAYER REQUEST Jamaica staff member Leroy broke his wrist handling horses on the farm. He also has a second job doing security at a local school. Pray that he recovers quickly and can continue working and providing for his family.

ANSWERED PRAYER We are praising the Lord for a generous sponsor that increased their support to cover the college tuition of Mikhail.

ANSWERED PRAYER Our Jamaica staff members have been working hard and almost completed all three child sponsorship projects that were left outstanding. We are believing the blessings of these homes that provide a secure and caring environment for these children to grow as they have witnessed the love of Jesus in a tangible way.
