Happy Thanksgiving and
A Hurricane Update from Marla

Marla shares her last Hurricane Melissa update for a while as we approach Thanksgiving.

It’s been about a month since Hurricane Melissa made a historic landfall on the beautiful island we all know and love. While many parishes on the west side of the nation felt the devastating impact, we were fortunate in St. Mary to receive minimal damage. By the grace of God, we have been able to get everything fully operational again! Read our latest blog for an update on volunteer Tina G.'s experience serving in Jamaica post-hurricane.

Volunteer Spotlight

Blake Hembree has been serving with ACE for roughly three years, coming down to Jamaica with his wife and kids, as well as his friends, the Connors. Last fall, he helped us create our very first 8x8 ft. tiny home for Clive. And this past month, he's had a huge impact on our hurricane relief efforts.

When Blake saw the needs of the island after Hurricane Melissa came through, he felt called to contribute. He helped gather thousands of dollars worth of donations from his community and used his private jet to get food and essential supplies to the island as quickly as possible. He also helped us ship five pallets of additional donations to Montego Bay. When asked about his support and generosity, Blake said, "Any chance to give back to the Lord. He has blessed me and our family more than words can describe."

Our ministry, staff, and community in St. Mary are beyond grateful. If you would like to discover ways to support ACE's hurricane relief efforts, email our Stateside Office at office@acexperience.org or visit our website at the link below.

ACE is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are 100% tax deductible.
