We have an urgent need, and we’re asking you to help us meet it. Over the next few months, we are hoping to complete three important home-construction projects. All three projects are fully funded by our generous donors and ACE family. What we need most right now are willing hands and hearts—specifically 5–15 skilled construction volunteers or carpenters who can spend one week serving with us. Would you consider giving one week to help us finish what our summer teams started? Read our blog for more information.

This summer we hosted two weeks of Vacation Bible School (VBS). Our theme was Be Magnified — helping kids discover the bigness of God in the smallest of things—His love, His faithfulness, and His presence in everyday moments. Our key verse for the week was Psalm 34:3: “Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.” What better way to exalt the name of the Lord than through crafts, worship, laughter, and the pure joy of children lifting their hands in praise? Read more about this year's VBS stories and what seeds were planted in the hearts of our community's children in St. Mary on our latest blog.

A Simple Gift That Changed a Life

One of our recent mission team volunteers was able to bring a donated wheelchair with them to Jamaica. Because of their generosity, we were able to place that wheelchair into the hands of someone who desperately needed it, restoring mobility, independence, and dignity.

The need for mobility equipment in our communities remains great. Many elderly individuals and those living with disabilities struggle daily without access to a wheelchair or walker.

Do you have a gently used wheelchair or walker that you would be willing to donate? If you are planning a trip to Jamaica with ACE, or know someone who is, bringing a mobility aid can make an incredible difference in someone's life.

If you would like to donate a wheelchair or walker, please contact our Stateside Office at 877-500-5768 or email office@acexperience.org for more information.

Together, we can help bring hope, dignity, and practical support to those who need it most.

ANSWERED PRAYERS

& PRAYER REQUESTS

PRAYER REQUEST Please pray for our leaders, Marla and Allen, as they begin a three-month sabbatical. Pray that Marla and Allen find much needed rest as they step away. Pray also for our staff, as we take this opportunity to act as a stress test for the ministry. In the next few months, we will be able to see how ACE operates without Marla’s guidance and find any gaps in our current processes and communications.

PRAYER REQUEST Pat’s infant son, Tyler, has been in and out (and now back in) the hospital. He has holes in his heart that are causing issues. Please pray with us that God would heal and bless this family.

ANSWERED PRAYER Vacation Bible School was a true blessing! The teams were well-prepared and handled everything beautifully. In one day alone, we welcomed 86 students. The theme, dances, and Bible stories (acted out in costume) kept the children fully engaged. D’vaun was an absolute blessing and did a phenomenal job helping the teams carry out their plans.

PRAYER REQUEST Please pray that the five Baggo children who recently lost their mother would receive assistance. We are currently working on building a home for them so they can have a safe place to call home, but with the oldest children being just nine years old, they will need all of the assistance and prayers they can get.

PRAYER REQUEST Our community’s vulnerable children are often left home alone while their parents leave during the day to work and help make a living for their family. Please pray with us that the Lord will continue to watch over them, keep them safe, and bring the support and care they need.

ANSWERED PRAYER A big thanks to all who supported Latoya Newell with kind words, prayer and financial help. Lashauna was laid to rest Sunday, August 9th.

PRAYER REQUEST Please lift up Daveena, who is currently under the care of the government Child Development Agency (CDA). She is diabetic and her mother is unable to care for her due to her own mental health challenges. Authorities are working to find a stable, loving family for her. We pray for her health, protection, and a safe, permanent home.

PRAYER REQUEST We are still in need of “newer,” hardworking diesel-powered minibuses that are strong enough to handle Jamaica’s demanding roads. These vehicles will also ensure our volunteers enjoy a safer, more reliable (and more comfortable) mode of transportation around our campus and project sites.
