The natural world is a visual feast of stunning colors, amazing vistas, extraordinary creatures, and astonishing behaviors. To continue our theme of feasting, we’ll feast on nature with Mike Weilbacher, the executive director of the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education in Philadelphia, a returning speaker, and author of the upcoming “Wild Philly.” How do we feast on nature, literally and figuratively? And how important is it that we do so? He’ll share a variety of animals, behaviors, scenes and even facts-- many from our own backyard, many on video-- that restore our sense of wonder and awe in nature, and compel you to want to feast on nature in new ways.
