Offering of the Chalice at Communion

We once again offer the chalice to those who come forward for Communion. Partaking of the wine will be optional.

Please do so only by intinction, dipping the host into the wine. It is important not to dip your fingers into the wine as well. If you would prefer not to receive the wine, please cross your arms across your chest.

Adult Forum - December 11

Jessica Todd Harper will give a talk about her new book of photographs, Here, and how beauty, spirituality and Renaissance painting inform her work. Images from Here, as well as images from Jessica’s previous two books, are on view currently in Kinship at The National Portrait Gallery at The Smithsonian.

Plan to be with us this afternoon for our annual Lessons & Carols service presented by all the choirs. This is an excellent time to invite a friend(s). The service will NOT be livestreamed, but will be recorded for later release.
