Elisa H. Hamilton: Heirlooms features vibrant works on paper that draw from a handcrafted quilt made by the artist’s great-grandmother. Embracing joyful color and dynamic geometric patterns, Hamilton embodies family stories using bold, contemporary abstractions. Join us this fall to experience this celebration of memory, family, and creativity.

Hidden Treasures is a free art program designed to support and engage individuals with the early to middle stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, along with their care partners, or family members. Make Art @ FAM in October will be held at Fitchburg Civic Days’ annual Trick or Treat on Main Street. Stop by our table to grab some candy and make spooky art!
This program is generously supported by Rockland Trust and The Cathedral Fund.
The Make Art @ FAM program repeats once a month on Saturdays. The next session is Saturday, November 14, 11 AM–1 PM in our Art Place on Elm studio.

Join FAM exhibiting artist Elisa H. Hamilton and FAM Curator Emily Mazzola for a discussion of Hamilton’s exhibition, Heirlooms.
Mazzola and Hamilton will explore the process and inspiration behind Hamilton’s vibrant abstract paintings and the intergenerational dialogue she creates through this body of work.

Stronger Together: Art for Democracy
September 30, 2026 – November 1, 2026
Stronger Together: Art for Democracy exhibits accepted artworks from a juried competition held in spring 2026.
The competition was organized by the Reclaiming Our Democracy Task Force of First Church Unitarian, Littleton, MA. It invited New England artists to use their creativity to express and strengthen civic values, celebrate our collective identity, and honor the diversity that enriches our American democracy.
The Community Gallery is supported by a grant from Dr. Roderick and Donna Lewin, and by Fidelity Bank.
