After doing both hand calculations and simulations, he summarized his findings about stress in thin-wall rectangular pressure vessels with the a presentation we present in this blog post. | | | | RBF Morph – A Journey of Morphing an Existing Ansys Mechanical Mesh Into a Target Geometry | | RBF Morph is a technology that has been around for more than a decade now It is written and supported by Ansys Select Technology Partner RBF Morph and distributed through Ansys and its channel partners like PADT. Two products exist — Ansys RBF Morph Structures and Ansys RBF Morph Fluids, which are fully integrated into Ansys Mechanical and Ansys CFD. | | | | An Independence Day Brisket Analysis | | The smell of fireworks and freedom is in the air! This year, my contribution to the family’s Independence day festivities is a smoked brisket. Unfortunately, I have learned from experience that cooking at elevation (~7000ft) is not the same as it is in the valley (~1000ft). To avoid potential embarrassment it only makes sense to run a few simulations before lighting the smoker. | | | | Array Technologies CEO Testifies To Congress on Positive Impact of IRA | Kevin G. Hostetler, chief executive officer of Array Technologies, a leading provider of tracker solutions and services for utility-scale solar energy projects, testified before the Congressional Joint Economic Committee. The hearing, “Made in America: The Boom in U.S. Manufacturing Investment,” addressed the growth of the solar and manufacturing industries following the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act. | | | Facilities Invited To Join New Hydropower Testing Network | The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE's) Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) recently launched the Hydropower Testing Network (HyTN) to connect hydropower technology developers with testing capability providers that can help developers advance their technologies toward commercialization. | | | Featured Products and Services | |

A post-processing step for powder bed fusion or binder jetting additive manufacturing processes where loose powder is removed from the part. This includes removing loose and caked powder from features and removing powder from the surface. This process can be manual, using compressed air, water, and/or a brush or it can be automated using vibration, compressed air, and/or water.
This step is often started in a breakout station.
