Clothing Donations Got a Makeover!

We've made some changes to our clothing donations process to simplify scheduling and sign-up:

  • New schedule: DFSC will begin accept clothing donations on Tuesdays, beginning on Tuesday January 16. An appointment is still required, but you can drop off your donation any time between 10 am and 3 pm.

  • New sign-up system: We've implemented an easier, more intuitive sign-up system. Check it out!

BONUS: Special Intake Day

Thanks to volunteer support from First Federal of Lakewood, on Tuesday, January 23 we are offering 25 donation appointments—a perfect opportunity to curate your wardrobe!

New Volunteer Orientation Schedule

DFSC thrives on volunteer support! As a volunteer, you can make a difference in the lives of the women we serve.

We ask all new volunteers to attend a virtual orientation session to help ensure a successful experience for everyone, and we're now offering more days and times each month to accommodate a variety of schedules:

  • on the 2nd Wednesday at 8:30 am
  • on the 3rd Wednesday at noon
  • on the 4th Wednesday at 6:00 pm

Purpose, Preparedness, and Progress

Happy New Year to our DFSC Network!

Our theme for 2024 is purpose, preparedness and progress.

We look forward to building strong partnerships to provide impactful and relevant programming in 2024!

The goal this year is to expand and sustain programming in Cuyahoga, Summit, and Lorain counties in 2024.

As a volunteer-based organization, we need the support of community to reach our goals.

Join our movement to strengthen and empower women via our holistic approach to provide tools needed to thrive in work and life.

We need volunteers, community partnerships and corporate supporters in all of these locations who believe in the equity, equality, and empowerment of women!

When you change a woman's trajectory, you change the trajectory of her children and our community.

Thank you for your support!
