On The Move
Greater Cincinnati Nonprofit Executive Changes
| |
| | |
2023 has already proven to be a year of change and growth for the Greater Cincinnati Nonprofit Community. Three local Nonprofit companies have recently undergone staffing changes.
Libby Hunter (top left), who led the creative youth organization WordPlay Cincy since 2012, left her role Jan. 5. She will become executive director of Adventure Crew, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting city teens in Greater Cincinnati with nature through outdoor activities, effective Jan. 9.
YWCA Greater Cincinnati has appointed a new president and CEO. The downtown-based nonprofit’s board of directors appointed Rickell Howard Smith (top right) as president and CEO, effective Feb. 1. She is the first African American leader of the organization.
City Gospel Mission has named Jonathan Brown (bottom) as its president. Brown, who most recently served as Cincinnati Public Schools’ director of school leadership, employee and labor relations, is the first Black president in City Gospel Mission’s 98-year history. He takes over for Roger Howell, who is stepping down as the organization’s leader after 30 years.
We want to recognize the exciting changes happening within the nonprofits in our community and also offer a helping hand. Remember that OneSource Center has a team of capable consultants available to help with your executive search needs. Contact us so we can help your organization land its next amazing candidate!
