🍒 (The Dalles, Oregon) – The 44th Northwest Cherry Festival, presented by Tonkin Subaru of The Gorge, Title Sponsor, and The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce, invites the community to join in these fun and traditional activities that showcase local creative spirit and joy! Businesses and families are encouraged to take part in this year's Cherry Land competitions, celebrating our area’s deep agricultural roots and love for sweet cherries!
How to Participate:
🎨 Window Decorating Contest - Cascade Square Merchants
Help bring the Cherry Land theme to life by transforming your storefront into a vibrant, eye-catching display. Businesses must register by April 9 at www.NorthwestCherryFestival.com to participate.
👑 Little Royals Contest – Sponsored by Rivermark Community Credit Union
A cherished tradition, this contest crowns the festival’s Little Royals. One girl will be crowned Little Miss Royal Ann, and one boy will be crowned Little Royal Andy as part of the 2025 Cherry Festival Royal Court. Open to children ages 3–7, applications are available at TheDallesChamber.com and must be submitted by April 1 at noon.
Voting runs April 9–21, with one vote per person, per day, either online at TheDallesChamber.com or in person at Rivermark Community Credit Union.
Only the winners will be contacted on April 23 and will be publicly introduced at the Cherry Festival Royalty Coronation Breakfast on Saturday morning, April 26.
🍬Cherry Land Trail – Sponsored by NW Natural
Businesses can sign up by April 12 to be featured in this year’s Cherry Land Trail—an interactive digital experience that guides festivalgoers on a self-led adventure through local storefronts. No extra work is required from your team; Chamber staff will personally visit each participating business to explain how it works and set things up. The Cherry Land Trail is intended to drive foot traffic and highlight your business during one of the community’s most popular events, while creating a fun, engaging experience for all.
