Goodbye to January, and hello to February! A new month means new things to do in Downtown Florence. On Thursday, check out the new exhibit from Lynda English opening at the Florence County Library. If you are a new business owner, sign up for the free webinar on Social Media Marketing Strategies for small businesses presented by SCORE and the FMU Kelley Center. Balance Yoga Studio offers another session of their popular Beginner’s Yoga Series for those new to yoga; the classes last four weeks and start this Saturday.

February is also the month of love, and we are excited to bring back our Love Local Letters. From now until the end of February, you can show a local Downtown Florence business how much you appreciate them by sending them a Love Local Letter. The form for the letters can be found here, and all you have to do is select the business and then type in a message about your favorite thing at their business, why you’re glad to support them, or just a simple thank you. After you submit a letter it will be shared with the business owners to help brighten their day. Letters are free to send, so send as many as you want to as many Downtown small businesses as you want!
