Florence Race Fest at the Market at the Pee Dee State Farmers Market

The Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau is proud to announce Florence Race Fest at the Market. This event will be held at the Pee Dee State Farmers Market on Saturday, August 31st from 10am to 3pm. The Pee Dee State Farmers Market is located at 2513 W Lucas Street, Florence, SC, 29501 near Florence Darlington Technical College. This is a free event and all are welcome. We are kicking off Race Weekend with games, activities, arts and crafts, food, and family-friendly fun!

Some of the activities to participate in include:

• Cozy Coupe Races
• Arts & Crafts
• Carnival Games
• The Kenny Shelley Memorial Auto Fair
• Acceleration Zone where you get the chance to touch and see racing vehicles up close and personal

Florence After 5 Featuring Rivermist in Downtown Florence

Downtown Florence's favorite award-winning block party returns on Friday, August 30 in the 100 block of S. Dargan Street from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Rivermist, back by popular demand, helps us kick off Darlington Race Weekend, and boy what a party they plan to bring! This is one event you don't want to miss. Rivermist, based out of Fayetteville, NC, has been voted best local band for Fayetteville 8 years running and they play a great mix of your favorite Beach and Party tunes.
