Plant-Based Learning,

Cooking, Eating, and Fun!

Many of you have heard of the young man Daniel and the diet that he chose to eat in the book of Daniel in the Bible. At the end of the diet, Daniel was filled with energy and felt great!

Several thousand years later, the latest scientific research on nutrition has discovered that eating a diet similar to Daniel’s is the healthiest way for humans to live and thrive. Scientists have also discovered its benefits for our planet, feeding humanity, ending animal cruelty, and stopping pandemics. The Whole Foods, Plant-Based Food Plan is like the Daniel Plan but not as restrictive.

Would you like to learn about the benefits of the plant-based lifestyle? Would you like to learn how easy it is to plan, grocery shop, and cook plant-based meals? Join Lois DeHart, who will teach participants how they can still eat in restaurants, travel, and enjoy family functions! Lois will share some of her favorite healthy and delicious recipes.

Join us on Thursday mornings from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. starting September 21! Plan on having fun, learning a lot, and tasting some amazing food! At our last class on November 2, we will cook and eat a plant-based meal together! Please note, we will not have class on October 12 because of Fall Faire preparations. REGISTER HERE or in the Gathering Place by September 17th.

Cold-Case Christianity

led by The Rev. Lisa Chase

For all of God's faithful who are also forensics and crime show aficionados! This is a study in Christian Apologetics.

The eight-week study on Cold-Case Christianity is based on the award-winning, best-selling book by J. After being an atheist for decades, Detective Wallace became a Christ-follower at the age of thirty-five after investigating the claims of the New Testament gospels using his skill set as a detective.
