Dear CAHIP Members,
CAHIP's strength comes from our connection to our members. This close relationship is renewed each year when we nominate and elect leaders to serve on the CAHIP Board of Directors. The constant infusion of new ideas and perspectives ensures that our Board represents the best interests of our members.
This important process starts with you. As a valued member, we encourage you to consider those around you who have the vision and passion to lead our association forward. Your nomination could help shape the future of CAHIP. Please consider a nomination for either yourself or someone you’ve worked with at the state or local chapter level who shares a commitment to both the association and the industry. We hope to find a broad range of potential candidates to form a diverse and dynamic group of leaders to guide us in the years ahead.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement!
Nominations are being accepted for the following 2026-2027 CAHIP Board of Directors positions:
- President-Elect
- VP Communications
- VP Corporate Affairs
- VP Finance
- VP Legislation
- VP Membership
- VP PAC
- VP Professional Development
- VP Public Affairs
To nominate an individual for one of the open positions, please complete the nomination form and submit it, along with a Statement of Commitment and Travel Availability, by email to our Executive Director info@cahip.com. You can find the forms here:
Materials will be reviewed by the Nominations Committee and a report will be distributed to all local chapter presidents and published to the membership.
The first deadline for nominations is March 10, 2026. The final deadline for a nomination is May 5 from the floor during the 2026 Annual House of Delegates. CAHIP's elections process, House of Delegates and other pertinent information can be found in CAHIP's Bylaws and Policies & Procedures.
The best way for our association to represent our members' needs and interests is to have active, involved members serving on the Board of Directors. On behalf of the Nominations Committee and the Board of Directors, I thank you for your efforts and for your continued enthusiastic support of CAHIP.
Sincerely,
Rosamaria Marrujo
Immediate Past President
Chair, Nominations Committee
