Greetings to our Eastern Region Churches and Pastors,


We are your new Eastern Region Support Team. Our team provides support to the 74 congregations, and the clergy who serve these congregations, in the Eastern region of the Wisconsin Conference UCC.

Our main goal at this time is to meet with your leadership and members of your congregation. These listening sessions will have a few questions designed to share your joys and challenges in ministry. By getting to know you, we will be able to create connections between your church and other churches as well as with the wider Wisconsin Conference. We aim to facilitate dialogues and to be a conduit of communications.


Some of the other tasks that fall under our umbrella are:


• Attending installations and farewell services
• Conducting exit interviews for pastors who are leaving a church
• Maintaining a pulpit supply list for our region
• Supporting New Church Starts

We work closely with our Associate Conference Minister, Rev. Jane Anderson, as we share the work and ministry of each congregation. The visiting team will share what they have heard with our support team and representatives of the Board of Directors.


We expect to meet with each of our churches within the next 2 years. We need your help with this task. When our Support Team contacts you, please help us schedule time for us to meet. If your feel that we need to reach out to you sooner rather than later please contact one of us, and we will schedule a visit.
