"The Windward School's mission immediately took root in me. Aligning myself with a school that strives to empower students with language-based learning disabilities inspires me, and I will fully embrace the School’s mission, core values, and culture.
There is much I find unique about The Windward School, including being at the forefront of current research and teaching methods, sharing Windward's practices with both parents and the education community, and advancing the work of The Windward Institute."

For the last twelve years, Ms. Zamerski served as the associate head of school/chief financial and operations officer at Saint Edward’s School in Vero Beach, Florida. In this role she led the financial and budgeting activities while also overseeing all major operational divisions of the school. Prior to her latest role at Saint Edward's, Ms. Zamerski held the position of controller, responsible for day-to-day operations of the school’s finance department, including treasury, audit, and human resources. Her approach to work is deeply informed by collaboration and open communication, a perspective that not only allows for sharing of information necessary for budgeting and strategic financial planning but also builds strong working relationships.
Ms. Zamerski studied accounting and business administration at the University of Kansas and holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Baltimore. In her spare time, she and her husband Ted enjoy rooting for their respective alma maters, the Kansas Jayhawks and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. They share two adult sons, Ryan and Nathan, both alumni of Auburn University. Ms. Zamerski finds joy in simplicity: spending time with friends and family, walking their rescue dogs, Bruno and Marley, gardening, and reading.
Please join me in welcoming Ms. Zamerski to Windward. We look forward to everyone having the opportunity to meet her in July.
Sincerely,
