Any vocalists or instrumentalists interested are asked to contact our Music Director, Matthew Marion to work out the specifics at mmarion1811@gmail.com, or (401) 954-7107, or speak to him on a Sunday morning. | | Summer Coffee Hour - volunteers needed |
Our Coffee/Fellowship Hour continues throughout the summer, with cold beverages served. The church provides iced tea, lemonade, and apple juice but if folks would like to bake and/or bring snacks to share that would be great too. There's a sign-up sheet (on an orange clip board) out on the beverage tables at coffee hour (or on the counter in the kitchen) where you can sign up to do one (or more) things on a Sunday of your choice, namely:
- set-up by putting out cups and drinks (provided)
- bake and/or bring snacks
- help clean-up.
Thank you to everyone who has helped already this summer or signed up for an upcoming week. Additional help is needed on Sun, Jul 30 and several Sundays in August. Questions, ideas or suggestions to Racquel at racquel@bccucc.org.

| | Reaching out ...to neighbor | | You're making a difference! |
We recently received a couple of thank you letters from organizations that the church has supported, and wanted to share them with the congregation:
- Each month during the school year, our Loaves and Fishes RI Backpack Program provides 25 bags of food to families of students in need at the DelSesto Middle School. The following letter was recently received:
With a grateful heart, we would like to thank you for the impact you have made here at DelSesto Middle School. Your support of the families in our school is so important. We were able to feed twenty to thirty families every month due to your generosity, including our Special Needs students, and families that were facing homelessness. May God continue to bless your ministry of helping those in need.
We hope to continue our partnership with you, because your giving hearts have made such a difference in our community.
Sincerely,
Marisol Lebron, Senior Community Specialist

A donation was made from the Deacons Fund to SSTARBIRTH which is a long-term, residential substance abuse treatment program specifically designed for pregnant, postpartum and parenting women. They wrote:
On behalf of SSTARBIRTH and the women and children who reside here, I would like to express our sincere thanks for the very generous donation to our program.
The kindness and generosity of your congregation is greatly appreciated.
With gratitude,
Diane Gouveia LICSW, Program Director

We return to 10 am worship on Open Doors Sunday, September 10.

However we will continue to keep you updated in a timely manner with everything that's happening here at church.
Also please note that the deadline for the Announcements and eBridge is Tuesdays during the summer. Send info to Christine at office@bccucc.org

Please note that the service can no longer be watched LIVE on our website. However a recording of the service can be watched once the service is over when it gets posted to the Livestream page of the church website https://bccucc.org/live-stream-2/
| | We welcome children in worship |
We love the sound of children in worship so families of all ages are encouraged to come to church. There will be a Children's Message every Sunday during worship, except for the first Sunday of the month when we have communion. Nursery care is not available this summer but there is the option of using our Nursery Nook, located directly below the sanctuary, for parents to retreat to with crying infants or wiggly children of any age, and the service can still be heard on the loud speaker down there. Regular nursery care (for ages 0 - 3) in the Education building across the driveway will resume on Open Doors Sunday, Sept 10.

During the summer the deadline for receiving information for inclusion in the eBridge and the Sunday Announcements is Noon on the Tuesday prior to publication.
