On Monday we'll continue our exploration of the practice, The Nectar of the Path. This beautiful ritual was composed by Mingyur Rinpoche to be practiced by his students while he was away on his 4 1/2 year wandering retreat. Nectar of the Path contains all of the key elements of a Vajrayana practice and is a perfect daily practice for all students regardless of their level of experience. Please join in for what promises to be a most inspiring evening.

All are welcome to come at 6:15 for tea and conversation.

While we are sitting in meditation, we are simply exploring humanity and all of creation in the form of ourselves. We can become the world's greatest experts on anger, jealousy, and self-deprecation, as well as on joyfulness, clarity, and insight. Everything that human beings feel, we feel. We can become extremely wise and sensitive to all of humanity and the whole universe simply by knowing ourselves, just as we are.

Contemplation of the Week - Living Wisely

In the days to come, as you go about your day, see if you can be aware of the assumptions you make about the people around you. Are you open to the people around you? Or, do you find yourself filling the space with your assumptions, attitudes and projections. Living with curiosity and openness is wisdom itself.
