No matter what comes along, we're always standing at the center of the world in the middle of sacred space, and everything that comes into that circle and exists with us there has come to teach us what we need to know.

Life's work is to wake up, to let the things that enter into the circle wake you up rather than put you to sleep.

Contemplation of the Week - This Perfect Moment

In the days and weeks to come, from time to time bring to mind the fact that whatever is happening is the perfect teaching; the perfect message for whatever it is that we need to learn. Also, consider the particular situation to be the perfect place to wake up and whoever I am with to be the perfect gathering to wake up with. Consider that whoever we encounter at any given  moment is the perfect teacher. Finally, bring to mind the fact that this very moment, this exact moment is the perfect time for me to learn what I need to learn. In this way, the world opens up to us, as being an expression of these “five perfections”: the perfect teaching, the perfect place, the perfect gathering, the perfect teacher and the perfect time.
