Leave No Trace Organization Changes Training Structure & Nomenclature

The BSA is grateful for our longtime partnership with the Leave No Trace organization. The Leave No Trace Seven Principles are part of every level of the Scouting program and help guide our perspective on outdoor ethics.

Recently, Leave No Trace updated its training and nomenclature. These Leave No Trace updates will be reflected in BSA resources and materials as updates are made over time.

Please note - the Leave No Trace Instructor track now includes Level 1 and Level 2. These trainings replace the terms Leave No Trace Trainer and Leave No Trace Master Educator.
