Service Hours Opportunity

Bartlesville Fly-In, hosted by Bartlesville Community Foundation and Charles W Harris Foundation, is looking for help with parking on Sept 21 and Sept 22.

Slots are 3 hours long starting at 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

Sky Trail Adventure Challenge

When: Saturday, September 14, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Where: Osage Hills State Park

Trail running, wall climbing, ziplining, and kayaking! Professionally timed and open to anyone 18 and over

Electronics Merit Badge Workshop

When: Saturday, September 14, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Where: First United Methodist Church - 314 W. Canadian Ave. - Vinita, OK 74301

Class size: 15

Learn about transistors, resistors, schematics, LEDs, capacitors, soldering, control circuits, and printed circuit boards. Scouts will complete all requirements for the Electronics Merit Badge. SIEMENS provides project materials and lunch—soldering tool kits supplied by the Tulsa Section, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Order of the Arrow Fall Fellowship at Quivira Council

Our friends in Quivira Council have extended an invitation to this event.

Friday night – Friday, Oct. 4th check-in: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Break camp – Sunday, October 6th at 9:00 am

Fall Camporee 2024

Back to Scouting Basics

When: Friday, Oct. 11 to Sunday, Oct.13

Where: Camp McClintock

Cost:

• Scouts - $15 / $20 after September 30
• Adults - $10 / $20 after September 30

Each Patrol will compete in the Patrol Basic Scouting Skill Challenge on Saturday. Patrols will be scored on their collective ability to demonstrate the basic scout skills needed to become a First Class Scout.

The three units with the highest total scores based on their patrol's Basic Scouting Skill Challenge scores and camp inspection scores will be awarded Camporee Honor Units.

In addition, the three highest patrol scores on each event will be recognized.

All awards will be presented at the evening campfire on Saturday night.
