Distraction Bags

As you may already know, the Michael Magro Foundation is dedicated to bringing comfort and smiles to children undergoing medical treatments. One way we do this is by providing Distraction Bags filled with coloring books, crayons, stickers, activity items, and more. These bags help ease the anxiety and fear that children experience while waiting for procedures or recovering from surgery, making the hospital experience less stressful for both kids and their parents.

We are currently looking for corporate partners to help us fund these bags, which are shared with the Emergency Department, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Ambulatory Surgery Unit at NYU Langone, Long Island. In return, we’ll proudly co-brand the bags with your company’s logo alongside ours, showcasing your commitment to the community.

Americana Manhasset Champions for Charity® holiday shopping benefit is December 5-7th. Help support our organization by doing your holiday shopping at participating Americana Manhasset stores during these three days and 25% of your pre-tax purchases will be donated back to us!
