Dear Beloved in Christ,

As we stand on the threshold of Holy Week, our journey through Lent reaches its most reflective and profound phase. This sacred time, rich in spiritual depth, invites us to walk closely with Jesus through the final days of his earthly ministry, his passion, crucifixion, and resurrection. It is a week that encompasses the fullness of love, sacrifice, and the promise of new life.

In this season, we are reminded of the power of connection – to our faith, to one another, and to the world around us. The story of Holy Week teaches us about the strength found in vulnerability, the grace of service, and the boundless nature of God's love for us. Each step from Palm Sunday's hosannas to Easter's alleluias tells of a love that endures beyond all trials, a love that transforms.

This year, I encourage each of you to enter into Holy Week not just as observers, but as participants in this holy narrative. Let us open our hearts to the messages of hope and renewal that this week offers. In our services, we will share in the stories of Jesus' last supper, his prayerful agony in the garden, his betrayal, and his journey to the cross. And, in the silence of Holy Saturday, we prepare ourselves for the joy of the Resurrection.

Yet, being connected is not only about our personal journey; it is also about our communal journey. Let us reach out to one another, especially to those who may be feeling isolated or who cannot join us in person. A phone call, a note, an email – these small gestures can be profound expressions of love and belonging. In doing so, we embody the compassionate, loving, and pastoral heart of our community.

As your priest, I am here for you. Whether you seek prayer, conversation, or simply a listening ear, please know that my door is always open. Together, let us support one another in faith, hold each other in prayer, and uplift one another in love as we journey through this most holy week.

May this Holy Week deepen your connection to the divine mystery of God's unfailing love and grace. May it inspire us to live more fully in the light of Christ's resurrection, carrying his love into the world in all that we do.

With deepest affection and prayers for a blessed Holy Week,

Mo. Allison+
